"Dear Mr. Fox,The ritual of the 33d Degree describes the ring as a triple band of gold which *may* have a triangle with the numerals "33." It may be worn on any finger of either hand. This is appropriate in both the Northern and Southern Jurisdictions.
Although there is no *official* description of enameling, it is common to find them enameled in black, although I've seen them in red also. For example, my personal ring has a triangle enameled in black and is also embellished with diamonds."
